201 – Monday MamAffirmation: I bring the JOY

Hey mama. This is Mama’s Daily Dose, the short actionalbe podcast for mamas who want more. I’m Meghan Q Barrett of allyoumama.com. How is your Monday morning going so far? Did you decide to set the tone for your day this morning? Were you being intentional with how you want to feel and how you want to make others feel? Or are you just kind of like rolling with the punches and whatever happens and you’re going to react to it, you’re going to feel some kind of way? Which one sounds a little bit better? And Mama’s daily dose is…a Monday MamAffirmation, I bring the joy. Lets get moving before we get interrupted.

I bring the joy, I bring the joy. It is up to you. What mood, what vibe you want to bring into each and every single situation. In your day, throughout your day throughout your life, you get to choose. But if you’re like most people, you are not intentional about your choice. You just kind of wait to see what the situation brings, and you react to it. So if something negative happens, you may react negatively. However, you know those people in your life that no matter when you see them or what’s going on in their life, they always seem to be happy. That’s because they are intentional about that. They are choosing joy. And you can choose joy, choose it in the morning. Keep choosing it throughout the day. I started this new thing from Brendon Bruchard that he sets alarms in his phone throughout the day that say “I bring the joy” and I started doing that too. Just as a reminder to be intentional, that you can set the tone you can set the tone for yourself and you can set the tone for everyone that you come into contact with throughout the day.

Mama your action today is to be intentional. Repeat the MamAffirmation. “I bring the joy I bring the joy” and keep repeating it throughout the day. And be that light, be that light for yourself and be that light for others. And if you want a little extra credit today to set a few alarms in your phone that say “I bring the joy” and get that built-in reminder throughout the day.
