176 – MamAffirmtion: I always do the best I can

Hey mama. This is Mama’s Daily Dose, the short, actionable podcast for mamas who want more. I’m Meghan Q Barrett of allyoumama.com. Monday MamAffirmation coming your way, and Mama’s daily dose is Monday, MamAffirmation, “I always do the best I can.” Let’s get moving. Before we get interrupted.

I always do my best, I always do my best. Repeat it. Mama your best is not the same every single day, it’s going to look different. But every day you are out there doing the best that you can, with the knowledge and experience that you have days are going to look different. Every day, you don’t have the same energy and the same drive. Because you’re just different every day you maybe didn’t get the same amount of sleep, you ate something different something else is going on in your life. But know that every single day, you are doing the best that you can with what you got right there. And I try to stay away from absolute words like all never always, but this is one of those times that all allow it. Because no matter the situation, you are doing your best. No matter what. The only reason there are mistakes in life is because of hindsight. Because we’re able to look back with the experience that we have now and knowing the outcome basically and be like, Oh, that was a mistake. But in the moment, that was the best decision, the best action, the best thing that you could do, because you are always doing your best.

Mama, your action today is to repeat the MamAffirmation. “I always do the best I can. I always do the best I can.” And it may not be the same thing that you did yesterday or the same thing that you’re doing tomorrow. But it’s the best that you can do right now. Wherever you are, and have a great day free of mama guilt because you deserve it.
