148 – What are you going to work on?

Hey, Mama. This is Mama’s Daily Dose, the short actionable podcast for mamas who want more. I’m Meghan Q Barrett of allyoumama.com. Only a few days left in 2021. So we are reminiscing about what happened in this past year. Yesterday, we went over at least three things that went well for you. And today, Mama’s daily dose is… what can you work on? Let’s get moving. Before we get interrupted.

Where your attention goes, your energy flows, we talked about this yesterday about kind of focusing on the positive and that is where your energy is going to go to those positive things. Now, today, I want you to look at what you want to work on, not necessarily in a negative aspect. But what are those things that you need to improve upon to become that person that you want to be to become the mom that you want to be, or career person or healthy person, or whatever it is, we all have things we need to work on. And if we focus on those, that’s where our attention is going to go. And it’s going to be positive, because we’re going to get those positive results that you want. When you consistently work on those things that need improvement.

Mama, your action today is to write down at least three things that you want to work on in this next year, and be as specific as possible. So we talked on Monday about reading, so maybe it is reading 10 pages a day or five pages a day. Maybe it’s getting healthier, so be specific on that. So I eat vegetables at two meals a day. Just be as specific as you can and pick something that you can be consistent with as well. So write down those three things that you want to work on. And tomorrow we have a quote from Dr. Joe Dispenza. That will kind of get your butt in gear a little bit to make those changes that you want to in the new year and have a great day free of mama guilt because you deserve it.
