Hey mama. This is Mama’s Daily Dose I’m Meghan Q Barrett of allyoumama.com. Merry Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas to you and your family and happy holidays. I hope you have a fantastic time with your family that you just get to enjoy guilt free. And hey, enjoy some of Santa’s cookies too… you deserve it. Mama’s Daily Dose is…you messed something up. Let’s get moving, before we get interrupted.
I almost guarantee you messed something up this holiday season. Maybe you got the wrong color bike or the wrong size of something or the wrong toy. Or you lost it a little bit you got a little bit stressed something got messed up. And the reason I know that is because you are human. All right. It’s not going to be perfect as much as we want this picture perfect. Holiday Season. That fire going beautiful picture by the tree and everyone in their matching jammies smiling and looking at the camera. It’s just not going to be perfect. And it is because we are human. Even though you are a mom and you do so much and there’s a lot expected of you either from yourself or from outside sources to you are still going to mess stuff up. Because you are human. No one is perfect. We are going to make mistakes. And that is totally Oh kay. A lot of times the fun comes in those mistakes. And while it may not be fun or funny or enjoyable at the time, we can look back on it we can laugh or we can learn something from it. But just know you’re not going to be perfect. It’s not going to be that Pinterest board or that Instagram post it’s going to be real because you are a real human that is going to make mistakes mama so this Christmas Eve I want you to remind yourself when things aren’t going exactly as you want. Just remind yourself that it is okay to make mistakes. You are going to make mistakes. Your kids are going to make mistakes. But you know what? You are still worthy. And you are still loved and you are still a frickin awesome mama!
Remind yourself today and every day that it is okay to make mistakes. Have a great great Christmas. I will see you next week we are talking about all things goals and New Year’s because that’s the time of year and have a great day and holiday free of mama guilt because you deserve it.
