115 – They say you’ll forget….I’m still waiting

Hey mama. This is Mama’s daily dose. I’m Meghan Q Barrett of allyoumama.com. Happy Friday, y’all. And we are two weeks into our gratitude journaling. And I hope you are feeling a bit more gratitude in your life. And remember, it is totally free. And really, there are only positives that you will get out of it. So stick to it for the whole month of November and hopefully longer. But make sure you grab your journal, three things you are grateful for today. And Mama’s daily dose is..they say you will forget…but I’m still waiting. Let’s get moving before we get interrupted.

I’m really not sure who “they” are. But I remember when I was pregnant with my oldest, a lot of people are like, yeah, you kind of just forget about childbirth and the whole pregnancy thing. And you just do it again. And I had my first son about four and a half years ago. And I’m still waiting for that forgetting part. Like it hasn’t gone… it is still very, very clear in my mind, how everything went down. Even with my second which was a much easier. Actual birth the pregnancy was not, I still remember every single detail. So my question really is, is when does this forgetting come into play? Because you know what? I forget a lot of other things on a daily basis. My son constantly asked me, mommy, why’d you forget? Mommy, why’d you forget? And I say because I got a lot of things to remember. This is one of those that I am waiting to forget. So let me know on Instagram today I want to know, have you forgotten? Or were you just like, Okay, I’ll keep going or did you really forget about it? And you’re like, Cool. I’ll have some more kids because it wasn’t really that big of a deal.

Head on over to my Instagram @MeghanQBarrett, and let me know your thoughts on this because I want to know if people really do forget it. And if so, how do I get to that point? Have a fabulous weekend and a great day free of mama guilt because you deserve it.
